You will want to consider four factors when deciding on a frame for your bed:
To make finding a compatible frame easy, the BRYTE BED is made according to standard bed sizes, which are:
- Queen: 60” x 80’
- King: 76” x 80”
- Cal King: 72” x 84”
The temperature regulation system of your bed requires ventilation to work properly. The underside of your bases will need unobstructed access to a minimum two inch air gap around the base perimeter. For platform beds with a solid surface or beds on the floor, we provide risers to provide adequate ventilation and prevent blocking airflow.
You will need to be sure nothing is blocking airflow on the sides, foot, or bottom of the bed. This also includes furniture, walls, etc. As long as there is a minimum two inch gap for air to pass freely from the underside of the bed to the surrounding room, you are all set.
Bed frames with slats are ok, if they are a maximum of 4" wide. The minimum gap between slats must be at least equal to the slat width.
The height of the BRYTE BED (including the base) is 21 inches. We suggest that you measure what the height of your bed would be with your frame. Bed height is a preference, and we want to make sure you're happy with it.
A power cord for the bed is located at the head. It can be tucked under or along different styles of headboards if you wish to conceal it. It will need to be plugged into the provided surge protector, which will need to be plugged into a wall. This outlet will need to be within approximately seven feet of the edge of your bed.
Please be sure you are happy with how this will work with your frame and where you wish to place your bed.
