General Troubleshooting



Bedside tablet is dark and/or not responding?

1. Check the power going to the tablet. The tablet cord should be secured into the surge protector (USB cable) and the surge protector into the wall.  Ensure these are securely plugged in as sometimes a guest may knock them loose or unplug something. If the tablet was unplugged, secure the power cord.

2. The surge protector light should be blue to indicate that it is on.  If it is not blue, press the ON button.

3. Use a pin to press the tablet ON button. (a pin could be paperclip)

4. If the tablet does not start, please text or call customer support.

Please note that Bryte has provided backup tablets allowing you to replace a tablet if it is unresponsive. If you need to replace the tablet, please follow the step-by-step guide.


The bed is not responding or is showing as disconnected?

1. Check the power going to the bed. The bed cord should be secured into the surge protector and the surge protector into the wall.  Ensure these are securely plugged in as sometimes a guest may knock them loose or unplug something. If the tablet was unplugged, secure the power cord.

2. The surge protector light should be blue to indicate that it is on.  If it is not blue, press the ON button.

3. Check the WiFi used in the room to ensure it is active. Follow these suggestions to check WiFi.

4. If the bed does not respond, please turn the surge protector OFF and ON again OR unplug the bed and plug it back in.  Wait 2-3 minutes for the system to reset and see if it is running again.  

5. Verify that the tablet is connected to the room WiFi. Click here for steps to reset the WiFi.

6. If there is still an error or it is not responding as expected, either text or call Bryte customer support. If it's outside of regular hours, unplug the surge protector and the bed will turn off features until customer support can resolve the issue. 


A guest did not receive a sleep analysis in the morning?

1. If there is an error when trying to look at the sleep analysis, it indicates a disconnected WiFi, please double-check that the WiFi is working in the room.  

2. If so, the sleep analysis will display on the dashboard of the screen when it is ready. Please ask them to check later. 

3. If there is still an error or it is not responding as expected, please text or call customer support.
